Smart Compost Technology
The use of aerobic composting processes in the production of organic compost from municipal and agricultural organic waste is one of the most appropriate methods of processing and managing these wastes. Odor and leachate production, occupying a lot of required space and landscape pollution are the disadvantages of conventional composting methods.
In cooperation with USM University of Malaysia, Paya Farayand Company carried out a 48-month research on accelerating compost processing and creating innovation in this field, which resulted in the design and construction of advanced smart compost units with a capacity of one (1) up to 250 tons per day.
The operational units of these smart biocompost units include: reception hall, recycling line, compost package reactors, fine and packaging line, and exhaust gas purification systems. The control of the composting process is completely intelligent and done by PLC, therefore, while increasing the quality of the produced fertilizer, energy consumption and pollution production will be minimized.
Smart composting units, which can be produced in a portable and in situ form as well as using metal and concrete materials, have advantages such as:

- High efficiency
- High fertilizer quality
- Can be built and operated near residential areas
- High speed of construction and installation
- These compost units are suitable for towns, residential complexes, villages, industrial towns and the small islands.
 
 
 
 
Smart urban compost technology
Advantages of this system:
It is completely closed and equipped with a scrubber and biofilter and can be installed near residential areas. For a capacity of 250 ton per day it needs about 8000 square meters of closed hall and about 12000 square meters of area, and a total of about 2 hectares of land. Due to 100% localization, the construction cost was reduced to less than 50% of its European type.
 
Small smart compost technology:
In order to reduce construction costs and reduce potential environmental pollution, this type of advanced biocompost units without recycling and primary processing equipment and is recommended for villages and residential complexes that have the possibility of source separating and separating organic waste from the waste stream. These units, like other smart biocompost products, are equipped with a mixing system, aeration, leachate management system and gas purification unit.
